About me

Kerry B. Lewis is a businessman, advocate, and former Republican candidate for Congress who brings a unique and unapologetic voice to American politics. Born in Griffin, Georgia, Lewis attended Spalding High School and later studied at the University of Phoenix. His career spans entrepreneurship, media, and nonprofit leadership, including founding the Los Angeles Homeless Society Inc., a grassroots organization focused on housing and dignity for underserved communities.

As an openly gay conservative, Lewis challenges conventional political boundaries. His platform emphasizes term limits, economic revitalization, civil liberties, and government accountability. He believes in a responsive and compassionate government that serves all Americans—without sacrificing principle or integrity.

Lewis’s campaign for Congress in California’s 28th District reflected his commitment to reform, transparency, and bold leadership. Though he later withdrew from the race, his advocacy continues through public engagement and policy initiatives aimed at restoring trust in government and empowering diverse voices across the political spectrum.

Our core values

United in Identity. Driven by Principle. 🌈🗳️

Our Impact

  • 🌈 Reframing Identity in Politics: Breaks the mold of traditional political labels by showing that LGBTQ+ identity and conservative values can coexist. Encourages nuanced dialogue around personal freedom, faith, family, and patriotism from a perspective not often represented in mainstream media.
  • 🗳️ Empowering Diverse Voices: Gives visibility to gay conservatives who may feel politically homeless or silenced. Inspires civic engagement among LGBTQ+ individuals who lean right but haven’t felt welcomed in either party.
  • 🤝 Building Bridges: Fosters understanding between communities that are often seen as oppositional. Promotes respectful debate and shared values like liberty, limited government, and personal responsibility.
  • 📣 Shaping Cultural Conversations: Challenges media narratives that paint LGBTQ+ conservatives as anomalies or traitors. Creates space for authentic stories, policy ideas, and cultural commentary that reflect a broader spectrum of lived experience.

Our unique perspective

I bring the unapologetic voice of a Gay American who refuses to be boxed in by the Left’s expectations or silenced by political correctness. I stand firmly on the Right—not just socially, but morally, economically, and constitutionally. I don’t straddle the fence. I don’t play both sides. I’m Gay, I’m Conservative, and I’m here to prove that those two identities are not mutually exclusive.

I represent the millions of Americans who believe in faith, family, freedom, and fiscal responsibility—regardless of who they love. I reject the narrative that LGBTQ+ individuals must conform to progressive ideology. I don’t need the Left’s permission to exist, and I won’t ask for it.

The Gay Conservative is not about compromise. It’s about conviction. It’s about showing that you can be proud of who you are and still fight for limited government, secure borders, strong communities, and traditional values. I’m not here to make the Left comfortable. I’m here to make the Right stronger.
